All Town of Prairie du Sac residents 18 or older vote at the Town Hall located at S9903 Hwy 12.
If you are not already registered to vote in the Town, you may do so at the time of voting. Photo Identification and proof of residency is required for voter registration.
If you are already registered, Identification is still required to vote. For a list of acceptable ID’s go to http://bringit.wi.gov/
Many of our election workers and electors are vulnerable to the more serious effects of COVID – 19. We can work together to keep everyone healthy.
If voting in person, try to vote during the less busy times. If you arrive and it looks busy, if possible wait in your vehicle until a few voters come outside.
When entering the Town Hall:
Maintain 6 feet or more from other persons.
If your health permits, wear a face covering for the few moments you will be inside.
Sanitize hands frequently.
Do not share personal items.
NOTE: FOR ALL ELECTIONS: A PHOTO ID IS NOW REQUIRED
At all elections now in Wisconsin, voters must show an acceptable photo ID before a ballot will be provided. More information on this new requirement is available here.
For provisional and absentee voting, call the Town Clerk, Dick Nolden at 608 544-2406.
To ensure your absentee ballot can be counted correctly, follow these steps:
Completely fill in your name and address
Sign and date
Have a witness sign and fill in there address completely
Seal envelope with ballot inside
If mailing – the envelope with enclosed ballot must be mailed AND received no later than election day (November 3rd, 2020)
Envelopes with enclosed ballot may be placed in a drop off box at the town hall, located at S9903 US Hwy 12, Prairie du Sac. The drop box is only available during the following dates and times in October of 2020:
Thursdays, 10/15, 10/22 and 10/29, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturdays, 10/17, 10/24 and 10/31, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
